Among the pelinggih, there are two buildings – namely Palebahan Pura Tengahing Segara and Palebahan Palinggih Lingga Petak / Ulun Danu whose positions are jutting into the middle of the lake. The unique position of these two sacred buildings is rarely found in Ulun Danu temples erected on other lakes in Bali. This makes the two sacred buildings in the middle of Lake Beratan not only have spiritual value but also high beauty value.

Apart from functioning as a place of worship for Hindus from many surrounding areas, Ulun Danu Beratan Temple has indeed become a center of attraction for tourism in Bedugul. The main attraction of this temple complex is none other than Pelinggih Telengin Segara in the form of Meru overlapping 11 and Pelinggih Lingga Ulun Danu in the form of Meru overlapping three. The position and natural panorama surrounding the two sacred buildings make it has a high aesthetic value to be immortalized. This is what drives the local government to perpetuate this Bedugul tourist attraction in the fifty thousand rupiah denomination.
