There are various types of mangrove plants that grow here, such as Xylocarpus granatum (banang), Bruguiera gymnorrhiza (lindur / bako), Avicennia lanata (fires), Sonneratia alba (prapat), and Rhizophora apiculata (white mangrove). Travel around the mangrove forest by boat takes about 30 minutes.

Breath roots of a cluster of mangrove plants become a natural habitat for various types of fish. Satisfied to enjoy the beauty of the underwater, visitors can rest for a moment behind the shade of mangrove forests, while enjoying the fresh young coconut sold by boat owners.

Shady mangrove trees are also a place to roam several types of starlings. One of them is the Bali Starling (Leucopsar rotschildii) which is a protected endangered species.

Local people have a very good awareness in the efforts to preserve various types of local starlings and are very strict in preventing starling. A tour of the mangrove forest can also add insight into visitors about wildlife conservation. This is one of the added values that makes the Jungut Batu mangrove forest deserve to be part of the exploration experience in Lembongan.
